Welcome. Let's find your starting point.

AI for the Curious is a hands-on academy for learning AI, from your very first chat to building and governing real systems. Each lesson is short: you read a little, see it, then actually do it. All you need is a phone or computer, a free AI assistant, and about 20 minutes per lesson.

How the academy is organized

Every lesson belongs to one of six stages of the journey:

  • Understand
  • Use
  • Build
  • Train
  • Evaluate
  • Govern

And there are five suggested paths through it, depending on who you are:

Path

Path

How a lesson works

Learn it

Short reading, a clear picture, and a 20-second "Try it" after each idea. A running character (like Ingrid or Sam) gives every example a real-life job to do.

Practice it

Optional real-world exercises on your own tasks, with free tools. Three "picks" show where to start.

Prove it

A short quiz you can retry as often as you like. Finish it and the next lesson opens. The owl pops up now and then to cheer you on.

Where should you start?

Three quick questions. Nothing is sent anywhere; your answer is remembered only in this browser.

1. How often do you use AI today?
2. What would you most like to do with it?
3. Do you write code?

Free, and how accounts work

The first 5 lessons are open to everyone. Every other lesson is free too; it just needs a free account (email and password, or a sign-in link by email).

An account saves your progress across devices and keeps your certificates. Curious Kids (ages 8 to 12) needs no account at all.
